Violin class in Carúpano, Venezuela
Here we donated strings to a violin class from a music school in Carúpano, a city located in the east of Venezuela. This school is also part of El Sistema, maybe one of the oldest schools and it has formed many great musicians. The violin teacher Alexander Gonzales Rojas contacted us to help his students with strings. Being the school located far from the big cities, it’s even more difficult for them to have access to strings or accessories.
They were super happy and grateful for the strings, with which they were able to play their Christmas recital :)
The strings were donated by:
Juan Camilo Velásquez: Saarbrücken
Maria Gabriela Barreto: Mainz
